ldapctl is used to list the state or selectively halt the slapd and slurpd daemons. Options are:
-h, --help output usage information and exit
-k, --kill shutdown all slapd/slurpd
-s, --slapd shutdown slapd only
-r, --slurpd shutdown slurpd replciator only
With no options, ldapctl displays running slapd/slurpd processes
